Shell is targeting project sanctions in Nigeria, UK North Sea, China and US Gulf, with two LNG developments also seen, Upstream reports.
Following the release of its second-quarter results last week, Shell CEO Ben van Beurden identified eight upstream projects that are expected to progress towards a final investment decision in the next 18 months.
The Bonga South West deep-water floating production, storage and offloading project off Nigeria is joined by the Vito deep-water semi-submersible platform development in the US Gulf of Mexico among others.
